What an amazinggggg way to end my summer! A few days ago, I was thinking of what summer treat I could make before my first semester of senior year kickoffs. Melon Sorbet was my first plan since we have frozen melon cubes left in the fridge. And the other one was vanilla ice-cream because I recalled my favorite vanilla ice-cream from Carousel Creamery.
Since I have all the available ingredients in our kitchen, I was about to start doing Melon Sorbet which the idea of its orangey color and palatableness won me. But wait…
My sister came home with Oreo cookies and guess what?
My attention diverted to just make an Oreo Ice-Cream which my sister and brother both love!
Sorry Melon Sorbet, I only have one whipping cream left I can do you next time. 😦
Enough with the drama. Time is running bunnies. 😉 Oh, by the way, did I tell you that this recipe only calls for three ingredients and no ice-cream maker is necessary? Well, that’s incredible right?
Alright. Let’s get started!
Ingredients:
- 500mL Whipping Cream
- 300mL Sweetened Condensed Milk
- Oreo Cookies (You can use as many as you want)
Directions:
- Place Oreo Cookies in a food processor or blender and grind it. Set aside.
2. In a large bowl, using a hand mixer, whip the whipping cream on medium speed until soft peaks form.
3. Turn off the machine and pour the condensed milk into the whipped cream.
4. Mix them together on a medium speed.
5. Slowly incorporate the ground Oreo cookies into the mixture.
6. Then, pour the mixture in a plastic or a container glass. (I used the container from the ice-cream we bought the other day)
7. If you want to put Oreo Cookies as toppings, cut it into small bite pieces and put it on top after you pour the ice-cream mixture in the container.
8. Put it in the freezer for a minimum of 10 hours or overnight.
Voila! You now have your Homemade Oreo Ice-Cream all set to devour!
Have a refreshing end of summer ahead sweeties! 😘🍦🍧
Much Love,
Merzl 💘

Thanks for the recipe. The ingredients are not hard to find and the instructions are simple, easy to follow. Since summer seems to have an extension, I might as well try to recreate it. 🙂
