It was a sunny morning and a lot of tourists like us, were also heading to Tian Tian, Big Buddha on Lantau Island so we patiently fell in line to wait for the bus.
We wanna try the cable car but unfortunately, the Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car was under renovation so we did not have the chance to experience the ride.

P.S. We look so tired here because we climbed 268 steps to reach the 34 meters high bronze Buddha. It was rewarding for us because there’s more view and it was refreshing when we reached the top. Beautiful nature and plenty of souvenirs. I forgot to take pictures of the souvenirs because I was really fascinated by what’s inside the Big Buddha. There’s a gallery inside and we are not allowed to take photos.
My bestie with a Bodhisattva Statue located on the First Level of the Podium surrounds the Big Buddha.
*TRIVIA: The Bodhisattva are Buddhist deities which are venerated for helping mortals to have enlightenment. There are six statues and each statue weighs about two tons and is made of stone.
Panorama of the view overlooking the majestic mountains and nature.
